I told them their 11 feet look like crap and they need to landscape.

They didn't think I was funny.

 

Im sure it would have sounded better if you told them that in Latin.

No snow here, although some ice earlier in the week. On a positive note (for those who rarely see much snow) weather forecasters say we might get about an inch of snow on Christmas. That’d be neat.

I’m gearing up for some work on the cars and some R&R. I’m off work for the next two weeks! Paid vacation is always awesome.

 

OK that pic earlier was terrible. I got done a little earlier than I had planned so I made a stop along Pacific Coast Highway on my way home.
365 mile round trip seems to get longer every time I do it.

It was clear enough to see the Catalina Islands today. The fog started rolling in by the time I took these.

It was nice to take a few minutes and breathe in the ocean air without a mask on.

My wife never asks for much for Christmas but I got her a few things she did ask for that I could order. I usually go shopping for her but due to the current situation I opted against it. I decided to make her something.
At work we sell these small tear drop campers made to fill with wine corks. since we have a kinda oddball camper nothing is ever made for it so i decided to make one she could put potpouri or a candle in. We have a Taxa Tiger Moth which is an odd little thing but we enjoy the hell out of it whenever we get a chance. I figured this was something she could take to work and keep on her desk as a mini escape.
This is all hand formed out of steel. It's not perfect but the staalizer jacks screw up and down in the front, the side door opens, and the wheels roll. I did the top with expanded metal so the potpouri could scent her area and the plates on top reresent the solar panels and the front cargo rack.

According to Google assistant when I asked what is get off my lawn translated in Hawaiian that is what came up numerous times

 

I knew it was Hawaiian since I have been there a time or two but I thought Chuck was fluent in the language.

I am an old dog that can't learn new tricks. I would love top speak Hawaiian as well as Tagalog.

My wife is Filipino and to this day when she is talking to someone in Tagalog it sounds like the teacher talking in the peanuts cartoons.

Mornin,

Interesting day today, we have about 80 cars from three different car clubs coming for a photoshoot with our two retired Blue Angel planes. Hornet, Skyhawk, and the big ol Blackhawk Helicopter.. Thing is, these are all Bentley, second group is Mclarin, and then the super car group, all Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini ,,, Last time they came we had one Bugatti that was like 1.8 Mil..
