Thanks everyone, 2021, a New Year right?

Got to get over this funk I'm in this morning, wifey woke up crying already this morning, Looking out the front window and someone not at the fence to be fed and loved on.. A 4 times a day job I've had for 17 years is gone, lord knows I have other things to do, but it will definitely be a different day from now on.. At our age we don't do this again, it's bad enough losing the dogs when it's time..

Ok snap out of it, Happy 2021 TW50+, wishing everyone the best this year!!

    RJ

Good morning and Happy New Year.

    And in with the new

    Jan 2021.jpg

Great now I gots an aching for bacon..

    Well happy almost Birthday Andy!

Racine is damn near all the way down in Illinois! But at least he didn't have Il. plates and be one of those FIB's. Spent 4 years in San Diego and 2 years in Alameda but never had any desire to go back. Did spend 2 years in the yards in Bremerton Wa. and this morning checked Facebook for the first time in a long time. Had a message from a roommate from back then that got out of the Navy when I reenlisted and he is still living there. 40 years ago. Wouldn't mind going back to play in the Olympic Mountains for awhile. And fish.

You must be getting close to your escape from Ca. to the Villa in Oregon for good aren't you?

So sorry for your loss RJ.

Thanks Mike appreciate it. Last night blowing the snow in the driveway caught the edge of the blacktop road at the end of the driveway and ripped up a chunk of it. Yep broke a shear pin. My first thought was Mike doesn't have this problem he has a backup to his backups. For now a standard bolt allowed me to finish. No idea where my extra shear pins are and started looking again at 5 this morning.

I need a backup to my backups too!

I had my share of bacon with some over easy fried eggs and toast this morning. A manly meal to start the new year.

The shaft is seized more than likely. My backup has that also. Not going to tear it apart just for that. The problem is they didn’t use grease or never seize in the slip shaft..

Kinda far just for little ol me to frig with it.

Well Happy New Year. I actually made it to the end this year...mostly due to the fact that we are grand puppy sitting while the kids were at work. Didn’t want them to be home alone with all the fireworks going on. Cody, a mature Border Collie was easy. His new little brother Percy, an English Cream Retriever was a fun little handful. But persistence paid off and the little guy is now crate comfortable. At least at my house anyway. Have a great day. Stay Well...Stay Well.
