last time i had to update me CC info with them I tried online first. all seemed good. then i got a notice in the mail that my autopay was rejected and my account was past due because the CC on file was expired. called, complained, got it straightened out. month later got ANOTHER notice in the mail that my account was past due. went back and forth for maybe 4 months. the final phone call was "this is getting straightened out today or i'm canceling my account immediately and y'all can F yourselves". apparently their system takes 30 days to update everything and every time i called it was resetting that 30 wait. now why the automated system could generate letters immediately telling me the account was past due but it couldn't look further to see if i had done my part to update things and that was just stuck in the queue is beyond me.
yeah the voice prompt thing didn't work. had to type everything in on the key pad
    1:07 and counting...

I hate talking with customer service especially when its a computer generated voice prompt . I usually will press the zero button on the keypad numerous times until a response . I will also say speak to customer service representative numerous times also until I get a response

Well, what a nice birthday it has become! I was told the toolmaker I worked with all day yesterday called in sick today. Lost sense of taste. Got a test (rapid I imagine) and is positive. :annoyed:

They sent me home at 1:30 for the week. I have to wait until the weekend to be tested and can’t go back in until I’m confirmed negative...

My dad had a bad fall last night. Hit his head hard on pavement causing hemorrhagic stroke. He's in ICU. We've spent the last 24 hours in the hospital parking lot following his progress. Pretty bleak at first with complete left side paralysis. Today he was beginning to move his left leg a little. Hoping and praying that's a promising sign that he'll regain all left side movement.

try "bless your heart" next time and see what it does...
the stupid computer today asked me to say in a few words what the purpose of my call was so I said "update account info" and it tells me "let me see if I understood that right... consumate alpaca numerals" or some along those lines. so i resorted to the "talk to a human" request and proceeded to wait for 90 minutes, hoping that whoever picked up wasn't going to have to transfer me to someone else.

dammit. you guys wear masks when you're around one another? look at the bright side, you get a couple paid days off for your birthday!

dammit again. hoping the improvements continue - maybe the docs figured out the right combo of RX and whatnot to get him on the track to recovery.
