Umm I start melting at 76 degrees lol so yeah you can keep the desert heat don't care if it is DRY !! LOL You can always put more clothes on but if you take to much off well the police usually do not have a sense of humor about it :}

I was at my parents farm over the weekend, taking out fence and other kinds of fun stuff. Had the change to do a little driving off road anyway.

Thank you so much Jim! I already have a replacement however the stud broke off in the threaded part deep enough can't get it out. Have a bookmarked page on here on how to replace it and not easy to do so haven't done it. Someday when I have time and it is warm... :-(

When I was on recruiting duty inside the "SMART" board which was the mapped area of the target market analysis of the area someone had posted a full page cartoon from playboy. Had a couple of GI's in a foxhole with bullets flying over them and one said to the other what do you want to bet that someday they will have a holiday for us and we will be the only S.O.B.'s working. Used to open that every Veterans Day LOL.

Truck is pretty much packed for the trip back home in the morning, so not working Do a final cleanup on the Admiral's house in the morning, hopefully he has flown out of DFW by now and headed back to Australia. The Captain took him to Bismark at 2:30 this morning for the flight there. Looking forward to coming back next year if still above ground for another traditional "Veterans Day" hunt. We have always called it that anyhow.

 

Pic from last week, Bill in the back is retired AF tanker pilot and now works for the VA in SD. He is loading a bird in the vest of the Captain (that would be USN Capt.) If anyone would like help with the VA pretty sure Bill would be more than willing to help. His grandkids are in Rochester, Mn. where I live and I will be having coffee with him again a time or two soon.
