I agree with that. My parents are in their 70s and are worried about covid as it is, with my wife working with the critical covid patients there is just no way we will get to see them anytime soon. we both talk and text with them but In person will be on hold for now. Rema has had her two Phiser shots and is good to go. I still have to wait a while.

We have only seen them once since this crap started. The trouble is the vaccination only protects you. It does not mean you can't still catch it and pass it on. You just won't feel the effects if you do get it. the media doesn't seem to want to get that point out for whatever reason.

    Good Monday morning,

Another month gone by.. Long weekend of house work.. Our two oldest decided for Christmas to replace our flooring with hardwood.. Turned into move every piece of furniture paint all the walls, after patching drywall all over, oh and clean everything before paint... Wow, Master, Kitchen, dinning room, living room... Now we get to pull all the tile in a couple weeks and clean all that dust up again... So much fun, NOT, Christmas turned into a lot of work for me..

At least the better half will be happy... For a couple of days!

    Y'all have a great Monday !!

Good morning TW. Hope all is well with y'all.

Well me and my son got 2 heating elements installed in hot water heater. Great lesson for him too. He ended up vacuuming out about 1/2 gallon of calcium build up. Leaning towards a water softener some day - I think. Moved on to our money pit next and we installed some trail sliders. Getting ready for our big bend state park trip in about 55 days from now.

Hope y'all have a great week ahead.

I have to do our elements too as we have hard water. wish they made a heater with a trap door.I rigged up a hose on the wet vac hose end that will go thru the element hole to bottom of the heater to do the same.my bottom element always goes out first.

Exact same setup on shop vac/piece of garden hose. And spot on about the bottom element. I use the longer elements. The burnt one gets bent and used as a "scoop" to bring that mess closer to the opening after I get most of it out with the hose. Hope that makes sense.
