Good Morning. Went out for dinner last night. Had a great fried chicken wedge salad. Our waiter (first night back since closing 3 months ago) was so happy to be back at work. He gave exceptional service and we left a very nice tip. Hopefully things continue to go the right direction and that people continue to take precautions to prevent the spread of this virus.

@MoneyMan55 Thank for sharing your post. Thoughts and prayers for Addisyn.

Have a great day. Stay Well...Stay Safe

I know there are a few of us out there, born in the 50s, 60s 70s, still feel like we did 20 years ago, having a blast in our Tacos, growing hair out of parts of our bodies that just isnt right. I just hit 50 6 months ago and enjoying life more than ever.

The 50’s Plus Thread Entrance Test.

This test will be administered upon entrance your request to enter the club house , yes girls are allowed here and we have a few mind your manners or expect a Gibbs Smack if you do not know what that is go here
    https://youtu.be/LCsGCpeoOJ0

    Now to the test:

    1. What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully!
    2. What snack cakes Little Debbie’s, Hostess or Drake?!
    3. What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn?
    4. Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu!
    5. Goat Porn?
    6. Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices!
    7. Bacon
    8. Toilet paper rolls, over or under?
    9. Daylight Savings good or bad?
    10. How do you like your steak cooked?
    11. °C, °K or °F ?
    12. Miracle whip or mayo?

    OKay... so the test...

    1. What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully! A little char on the dog, Ketchup, mayo, onion, relish, occasional mustard or cheese. Sometimes saurkraut.
    2. What snack cakes Little Debbie’s, Hostess or Drake?! Whut's a Drake? Some kind of goose? I'd rather eat a Sun Belt Fudge dipped coconut granola bar.
    3. What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn? (Assuming you mean grandkids?) My favorite device is "distance". They don't live close enough to bother me much.
    4. Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu! Me? Dog... Wife? Depending on her proximity to either.
    5. Goat Porn? Only if it involves a Pontiac.
    6. Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices! YES!
    7. Bacon Apparently you don't need any answers to this, and rightly so.
    8. Toilet paper rolls, over or under? Over of course.
    9. Daylight Savings good or bad? Daylight savings time good... time change every year bad.
    10. How do you like your steak cooked? Seared well, bloody on the inside.
    11. °C, °K or °F ? Who cares? I don't wear a watch either.
    12. Miracle whip or mayo? Miracle Whip? Ptui, ptui... Mayo for sure.

    cool!!!

I teach at a high school, and 2 middle schools. We have been in since Sept, and it has not been bad at all really. Very very few cases, and NONE contracted in the classrooms. The only big issues were with - as you would expect - the sports teams all rolling around with each other and sweating/breathing on each other. And the other place has been family gatherings/vacations. none of my building allow people in who are even suspect of having it, and that has helped

You just have to be persistent with them for the first few weeks. And also be proactive...

    stay safe!!!

My middle sister is an Ophthalmic medical technician and had it done years ago. In her case it was a success and no issues still to date. She said it was a huge change for her and such a relief not to have to grab glasses first thing when she got up in the morning. It was a life changer for her. But admitted not everyone has been so lucky although supposedly the procedure has come a long ways.

Very personal decision and agree there is no such thing as a minor surgical procedure. Totally agree.

Well I did move to Mn. from Asheville, NC 22 years ago. 5 years after I retired from the Navy. Am eligible to retire again and for good but not ready to. After bird season shuts down until trout season opens I often think of the Appalachian Mountains though. And the people back there, miss them.

But make do with what Mother Nature deals out. Got rack of ribs on and some dinner ham slices double smoking. Breaking the pup in right.

    Feb4RibsAndHam.jpg

Snow plow just went by but will not stop snowing for awhile yet. Have to wait until it makes the second trip by before I work on the driveway. But plan on getting done before it really starts to get cold.

    Feb4Temps.jpg

Damn I'm getting too old for that chit!

I hunt the "ruffled grouses" with the dogs and ruff grouse don't like people. Can't say I blame them either.

More people are moving North though. Can't go any further North without crossing the border. Wait there is still Alaska...

    I like the Mooses too!
