A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Do you have Natural Gas available to you? Or , can you get propane gas? If the answer to either is yes --have you thought of getting a Tankless Water heater? If you only have electric -- forget the tankless. I have been using a tankless for about 25 years. I had a Takagi for 18 years -- till I replaced it with a more efficient model (condensing type that uses PVC for venting). The Takagi was still working when we removed it - I even sold it for 100 bucks. If you have access to gas of either type -you will thank yourself down the road.

This is top secret brother but before I die, I'm getting a Tonka Truck, Front End Loader or Track Hoe and going to play in the dirt for several days. Maybe build a bridge from sticks and rock. You in?

Battery in the work van has been failing.
This morning it took 3 tries to finally turn over.

So I call the fleet service and they tell me to go to pep boys. He was upset that I called and should have known.

So I go to pep boys. They said it would take 2 hours to get approval and an hour to put it in.

2 hours later they said it was denied because it would cost too much.

Same story at the Firestone place.

So I go to the dealership and they said it is under warranty, but they need to monitor the obdII for 12 hours to get a warranty number.

I walked a mile to get the rental for overnight and I may still get denied a new battery.

I am still running on a low front tire from the last denial of service.

I'm home early because I can't work without parts.

    Oh well

I was able to do quite a bit of nothing on my snow day. Puttered in the basement after the wood stove warmed it a bit. Talked on the ham radio for a while with a few from Lithuania, Italy, and Namibia. Then I did a clean up before dark. Snow is still coming down so I’ll have to hit the driveway again tomorrow morning before work.
