A little jealous of you going out to shoot! Hope you shot well

Going to wait until it warms up until I shoot again. Used to shoot in these 20's below temps but not anymore. It just plain hurts now. Got to above zero, heck if the wind is blowing will wait until it is above freezing! Well not quite, I would never be able to get out to break clays then LOL.

Hope we see some improvement in the ammo availability department soon too. Fleet Farm last fall and it hasn't gotten any better across the Country.

    fleet farm shotgun ammo1.jpg

Just got 5K shotshell primers delivered yesterday and was lucky to get those from BPI. Cost me ~$40 a thousand all in delivered with tax and hazmat which is steep. But may be the new norm. They are going on gunbroker for over $100 a thousand right now  And powder? Forget about it. Have enough flats of 12, 16 and 20 to get me through this year but will be cutting it close. Will be buying it when I find it now. Within reason....

Eye on the rock, head on the stock ;)

A little of this and a little of that.
Yes sir, I wish you would have been here to shoot with me today. It was an unbelievably nice day, even for GA in February. Mid 60’s, clear sky, and calm. You couldn’t blame a miss on the weather...

Through the gun club, I am (was) able to buy cases of shot shells. Fortunately, I bought 10 cases last year just before the Covid shutdown. The price of the cases has gone up from $60 to $90 per case, and right now they’ve stopped the orders. I also have my Winchester AA hulls reloaded by one of the guys I shoot with. He’s having a tough time getting primers and powder. I would like to start reloading myself, but I haven’t taken the time to get the equipment and set-up a place to do it. Hindsight 20/20.

I agree with you, I hope there’s some improvement in the ammo supply chain soon. It’s tough down here in GA, as I understand it is around the country.

Stay safe and warm Mike. You and that new pup will be afield in no time.

Just had the most awesome moment a little while ago . I was driving my Camaro thru the neighborhood when I saw my neighbor pointing at my car . As I got closer her 5 yr old son who absolutely likes my Camaro started waving at me with a huge smile . I then throw a rev then flashed the converter as I passed by their house

    y tho?

you coulda taken him around the block or parked in front of their house and let him crawl around the drivers seat for a while. woulda made his day!

my friends' boys loved my Tacoma when they were little. I let them hang out in there and pretend to drive while it was in the driveway. Then I got the RTT and once they saw that they were obsessed. If my friend and I were going to have a girls night out I'd always to go their house, set the tent up in the driveway and we would go do our thing. Her hubby knew how to take it down and pack it away so the boys spent the evening playing in the tent (with the baby monitor just in case) - it was a fort, tree house, lunar lander, whatever - and then he'd pack it away once it was bedtime for the boys and so I could get back home easy enough. God they loved hose nights - first question any time I was at their house was if they were going to get to play in the tent. Such sad faces if the answer was no...

I'm not sure, I just assume I did something wrong.

Thanks everyone! Haven’t been around in awhile. Life has been busy. It was a good day, as good as any work day can be. Stayed warm (-7F when I left for work). Came home 1/2 hour early. Wife is being extra nice!

Good Morning. Calling for snow today...and tomorrow...and...let’s see if the weatherman’s prediction is accurate or just one more thing to create a sense of pandemonium here. Either way I’m prepared. Stay Well...Stay Safe

good morning all!! We got more snow overnight...I am so happy to have finally got a real winter here. The cold and snow are heaven to me! Just got done with work...short classes at the middle school and the high school is always fun to be at, so it does not seem like work...I head over there in about 3 hours...

4 day weekend ahead to play in the snow!!!
