Been alone a time or two for Thanksgiving. Haven't seen my older son on any Holiday in years :pout: See the younger one most Thanksgivings and Christmas'. It sucks when I don't get to see them.

Looks like you can take your pic of seats

There is not enough bandwidth but a few points.
Having to spend money you don't have.
Having to fight asshole people in the store.
Spending hours decorating and moving the whole inside of the house around just to put it back 2 weeks later.
Having to walk around a tree farm for a tree. Fighting the crowd.
Seeing friggin Christmas movies 2 months before its Christmas.
    The same with Christmas songs.
My grandfather died on Christmas Day alone in the hospital while we were opening presents one at a time that took like 2 hours going oooooo and ahhhh for a pair of socks.
Listening to family fights you know are going to happen because somebody pissed someone off.
Then that translates into 2 weeks of everyone taking sides and then they are pissed off too.

    I have plenty more......

I have to agree on some of your points... But I love Christmas songs and movies. Never had the fights, sorry about them. Real sorry about your grandpa. That is bad. Yeah, some folks do drag out the opening of presents....

    :pout: sorry

We went through the "Quiet X-Mas" blues until we realized it was for US ;) We now do Lovers Key Beach as a morning get away and then we "give our time"..... volunteering where needed then Face Time with the Grands...kids get to be parents and we get the peacefulness.....

Truth be told, I do NOT miss hanging close to 4-5000 lights, climbing on my roof to spell the message with lights and my plywood decorations ( Mike, I did keep the drawings ;) ) all lit up.......BUT Con does get her outside lights and the inside is her "Holiday Domain"

Casper;aka Chris :p you guys will figure it out and then realize how important "WE & us" time is....

Have no idea about these things, but do have to do a dive into the ditch sometimes when one of these come at you
    [IMG]

Right now they are working 24 hours a day so it can be interesting...

Yeah remember when you mentioned Oswego NY track. I grew up watching the Sprints in Owego NY at Shangri-La Racetrack which is now a gravel pit. The Bodine's raced there when they moved up from the dirt track in Chemung.

You're correct, but if you maintain 65 mph you can slingshot around them through the ditch, sometimes.... Sucks when they are stacked up 3 and 4 deep in a row though!
