Up here in the High Desert , there's always bad accidents.on the Cajon Pass


This accident happened a few years ago on Christmas Morning . I was heading Southbound the same time the accident happened in the Northbound lane

The Cajon pass is very dangerous even on a clear day as people are weaving in / out of lanes at 90 mph . Every time I climb or go down this pass my heads on a swivel . I know Andy @CVYota knows how dangerous this mtn pass is

I'm a wood flooring contractor and I was recently talking to a potential client over the phone. He said he could only meet on a certain day because he regularly goes to check in on his elderly mom.
I did the same thing for my mom for several years before she passed in 2017 so I think that is very commendable. After giving him a bid he says that it's a lot more than he planned on spending and he needs to help his 100 year old aunt do some painting at her place. I know he was angling for some kind of discount and although I really do respect that he's caring for his elders because there are so many shitty people out there that can't be bothered, but on the other hand I don't think people totally deserve brownie points for doing things that we're all supposed to be doing in the first place.
