I hear ya. Painted my basement hallway and when I opened the ceiling paint can that was about halfway, it was in tough shape. I’ve got about 40 ft.² and the paint is like cottage cheese. Don’t know why. Instead of buying a new gallon I’ll try and strain it with cheese cloth and get enough for the one coat I’ll need .

 

It was curdled, did you taste it?

Yep, it’s Monday. And flip the calendar to March.

March is coming in like a lion here. It was in the 50s, with a hard rain, throughout the night, but is now about 40, with the temperature expected to drop into the 30s during the daylight hours and down in to the teens overnight. Additionally, the winds are expected to kick up from the north into the high 30s throughout the day, thus the drop in temperature. I would say that qualifies as a lion, not a lamb kind of day.

 

Good morning. 29* here, supposed to be 52 and sunny later on. Yesterday was shitty. Never left the house. Off to the Gym this AM for pain and discomfort.

The coolest thing about growing up in Washington DC is the ability to see all the bands all the time. The best was when I worked at the Pentagon, they used ground zero as a practice area so we got to see all the new material before the public. In 1990 the Navy's smaller band (current I think) came down to Indian Head and held a concert outside in the evening. We were almost straight across from Mt Vernon, and it was wonderful. Beautiful evening.

Today I'm working on some wood trim work in a hallway. Its long over due.
Just one of many projects I planned for this winter. I should get started before spring starts.

as much as I hate winter going away, I do love the chaotic weather here (Central Ohio) in March and April...we get about the same as you guys do...great camping/sleeping weather too. I love cool nights in the tent with rain coming down...
