Ok all caught up had to do legal shit for the last 5 hours sigh . Long story short going to have to sue a Maryland business for damn near killing my house pup when I went on vacation in August. Suffice to say no animal of mine will ever be kenneled other then at work , house or it is going with me where ever I am going. So far this ordeal has cost me a bit over 6k in veterinary and home care supplies and still counting.

    Productive weekend.

My girl and I spent quality time together working on her new/old RAV4. We drained/refill transaxle, transfer case and rear diff. Changed oil/filter. Changed cabin air filter. Installed her new WeatherTech floor mats that I got on a TW GB.

Next few weeks will be wipers, engine air filter, spark plugs, rear shocks, rear diff axle seals and rear brakes. Also thinking about aftermarket rear view camera, mudguards and foglights.

Also got a chance to power wash the truck's undercarriage.

I also switched out the aggressive Cooper ST-Maxx's with milder Michelin LTX's that I pulled from the storage shed. Spare tires were switched as well. I should get a couple of extra MPG.

    Have a good night 50'ers!

You are way to nice lol gave her a mat to work on ??? Lol I had a RAv4 2002 Model I put a small bush bar on the front to hold the driving lights and it protected the bumper wrap from minor stuff like ohh Walmart parking lot people. Have you shown her where the jack is for the car they didn't know lol at the Toyota dealer so gave me another one as they thought it was supposed to be in the back lower cubbies. in the 2002 it is under the passenger front seat. I presume you have a road box with first aid etc in the back already.

    Thanks guys.
We've worked out a "Fuel Credits" scheme: If she helps with a maintenance or repair, she will get half of the regular shop price. If she does a maintenance/repair on her own (I could watch/guide on the sidelines) then she gets full shop price. The fuel credit dollars go straight into a separate savings account with a debit card for her to use for fuel. Now I have to find a shop price list.

This weekend we'll do a tire rotation. So the jack gets a workout.

Her mom is giving this to her for Christmas. We're researching kits now. Costco sells a nice one.

^^Lloyd that is close to mine. She has a log book to keep track checking oil and maintenance recording. I went for a log book in the glove box If its up to date she will get extra fuel money. It's not that I need to check up on her but I want to get her in the habit of checking oil and tire psi. on a regular basis. my wife never dose and she lost an engine or two because of this. yes two one in the car and a tractor engine. both before my time.

I believe mine was around $130 direct from teeter. They constantly change and upgrade models, so they have frequent sales. Free shipping and other goodies. I would be concerned about a used model as the thing is basically holding you upside down. I'd rather not be dropped on my head or have the unit get stuck in the inverted mode.
If you can get a note from the doctor they may help you with the price. I just looked and now the one I have costs over $300. WTF? I hope you can catch one on sale. I know they also sell them at local sporting goods stores. They often dump them cheap at the end of the year. might be worth a look.
