Good morning. My first car was a 1971 or 1972 Nova. I bought it for about $300 in 1979 with money from my first job. It had a torn and shabby vinyl top and the windshield wipers did not work. I had to hang a coat hanger off the left blade and would roll down the window and manually move the wipers when it rained. :p I only had the car for a summer, then it stopped running. If only I was mechanical...

    Good morning all.:hattip:

Back to the salt mine today.

Storms all around throughout the morning.

First vehicle was a '71 GMC pick-up. Inline 6 and 3 on the tree. Lots of rust.

Yea, Duffy Bronco was on speed dial for mine, 7.50-16 Military Tires, eventually replaced by 14x35 Ground Hawgs, switched to Hurst floor shifter just before I got my FANCY 74 Bronco XLT 302 Headers, 4 barrel Holly automatic with A/C and electrical wipers!! Much better than the 67 vacuum operated, went thru many a yellow light in Florida downpoors blind cause they'd stop working when you jump on it!!

Really miss those days... Life was much simpler, and we all knew who was a boy and who was a girl!!

“Get off my lawn” thanks guys, makes much more sense now. I wasn’t thinking it through enough.

    Good morning everybody!
Storms rolled through about 0300 this morning. Thunder and lightening lasted about an hour, really wasn’t bad. Not like they were predicting. Rain stopped by 0600. Hope it’s a non event for you guys who are supposed to get it today too.

First car was a 72 Ford Maverick “Grabber” with a 302 and a 4 barrel carb. Fun little car.

Unroll it all the way and re roll it properly. It's the only way

Good morning. Rain and cold, and I've got to go on the roof. Attic vent fan is squealing and the entire neighborhood is pissed. I've been chasing this noise for weeks. Neighbor knocked on the door last night, said he and his cat can't sleep. Why does this shit happen to me?
Y'all be safe out there. Attic fans are cause for block fights.

Your way leads to somebody pulling down too hard, taking too much, and the next guy walking in to see it sitting on some nasty floor in rolled up pile.
