My first car was a 69 Ford Torino GT

 

guessing i was @ 14yrs old.

The storm came over us last nite,a break then may be severe thunder storms and end as snow in the morning. steady rain now. be safe

 

just do what we did in college...put speakers in the windows and blast some Slayer or Pantera....that will eliminate the fan noise!! ...and educate the neighbors about great music

 

I remember having these phones at home. They were hard wired to the wall.



The one in the kitchen had a 30' curley cord so you could walk around the room.

My parents had the other one in their bedroom.

 

But,,, were you on a party line?

 

Grandparents were actually on a party line. you could hear my aunt on the phone over the hill.

 

No.parents were too cheap.

So I'm on vacation this week, been cleaning up the sides of the house, now that I know I have no more construction (for now). Forgot my mask and now am sneezing.

No the fans are wind driven. They spin when the wind is blowing. Maybe they are called attic heat evacuation devices...LMAO. I have no idea. Here'a a picture.

I can here it squeaking just by the picture. My parents had one above the garage in their old house. Dad would regularly have to go up there and lube it to make the noise stop.
