Daylight savings starts in a few minutes and I completely hate it.
I have a pretty good body clock and this crap screws me up for about a month each year.
Pick on time or another and stick with it. There is no reason for it anymore.
Electricity has been around long enough now, city folks don't give a crap what time the cows need to be fed.

No, but for years we have been fed crap that they need to keep daylight savings because of the farmers.

California voters approved removing DST last year, I only hope it will be approved.

Either way I retire in 1 year 7 months and the system can F themselves.

Out here, it’s the kids at the bus stop in the morning. I hear you on the body clock adjustment. I swear mine gets used to it the day before the time changes back!

    I love DST.
Takes me a day or two rearranging. Get home from work and time to do stuff
    outside. Wish it was permanent.

    Lol
During winter solstice I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark.
I just like sun when I get home.
    Kinda recharges me driving home.
I’m being selfish on this one,,

You’re not being selfish at all! I crave seeing the sun when I’m out of work. It sucks because I work in a box without windows. Dimly lit for the designers working on CAD.

I can see how with sun would be hard to see screens.
If it’s sunny I’m outside when I have time.

A little of this and a little of that.

Rocketman-:hattip:If you get the chance for another trip down here, let me know.

I know that Lockheed Martin has a facility in Marietta, not sure if it’s the reason for the recollection.

I worked part time for 10 years delivering ice to bars and restaurants in and around Atlanta. Yeah, “Peachtree” was way overused in naming streets and roads. I learned my way around though, despite all the P-trees!

The threaded fastener coatings conference sounds thrilling...

On a somewhat related topic, I am in the process of getting Level 2 FPI qualified. I’m getting my OJT on what’s affectionately known as the “Green Mile” over in the engine shop area.

It started getting daylight about 7 a.m. here. That's good because my grandson goes out about 10 after 7 to get his school bus. Nobody likes going out the door to start their day in the dark.

    Good Morning

Looks like some of you ate pretty good last night. We had chicken breast, onion rings and mixed vegetables.
    Sunrise here is 7:08
The time change really doesn't effect me. Working 2nd shift it always dark after work. I do like waking up to see the sun rise.
