So I just got my 5000 mile service done by my dealer. The truck was wonderful beforehand but now it seems to be sluggish and just generally not new. I can't really put my finger on what is different. Am I just paranoid or can they have done something wrong? They only changed some filters and my oil and rotated tires.

Like others have said...check lug nuts and dipstick.

Give it some time....they may have disconnected the battery and the ECU needs to relearn.

Just to make sure the right amount of oil was used. You would hope they got the amount right but you never know.

Tacoma oil gets changed every 5K if running a 4.0L 6 cyl motor. His profile shows a 2015 Tacoma - 4.0L 6 cyl only. Later 4 cyls used 0W-20, but 2014 was last year for that engine.

    Who knows what they did.

Another reason to do your own basic maint.

Check the tire pressure. Mine ALWAYS overinflates them.

4 cylinders are still available for 2015. Just no regular cabs.

And to the OP, I always feel like this when I pick my vehicles up from somewhere. Especially when they adjust my seat.

Mine always under inflated them. 44 psi max AT tires would be set to 29 psi. Glad I do it myself now.

I hate ANYONE touching/driving my rig. To date three people have driven it. Two different alignment techs and the shop that put on my canopy. Both the alignment techs put oil stains on my brand new driver side seat and the guy that put on my canopy cracked my fender flares (after I told him to be careful). Fucking people.....

I have been meaning to buy a box of disposable plastic seat covers to throw on anytime the truck goes for service for the very issue you had, the tech scratched my door sill on my old truck by dragging his feet getting in and out.

That's a good idea. Sad the shop should have these. I told the owner of the shop about the grease stain and he just gave me this stupid look and said he would pay for it to get detailed. I said no thanks. That's all I need is some other idiot doing damage.

Did they correct the issues? I'm thinking I would have "pressed the issue". Esp the cracked flares.

Some Meguirs carpet and upolstery cleaner and a clean paint brush should get those spots right out.

Put the cleaner on the spot and let it soak for 5 minutes then re-apply. Then use the brush to gently agitate the cleaner and fabric. Next wipe up any remaining cleaner with a microfiber towel. Repeat until spot is gone.

For the most part, I would think you can TRUST them..... but ...that ONE time where Billy Bob had too much to drink the night before and just isn't enjoying his day (while working on your truck).

    Unfortunately...you can't trust everyone...and you can't trust them all the time. ;)

No oil, too much or too little oil, they didn't tighten the drain plug and it leaked out, didn't tighten the filter enough and it leaked out....etc etc and God only knows the many other things they can screw up. ;)

If you look on the door sticker the rec PSI for the stock tires is 29 up front and 32 (IIRC) for the rears.
