Purchased a new 2021 DCSB TRD OR 6mt for $34,000.
Had 7 miles when I picked it up.
    Turned 5000 miles today.
The truck has not had a single issue. YMMV

No issues in 12k either. Must be a fluke.

Out the door pricing is the real shocker with the current market value.

SC caps sales tax at $500. I paid $34,500 OTD
But we get to pay "personal property tax" every year

It’s easy to feel so among the vocal minority of complainers on the forum. Hah!

I've owned several good chevys :anonymous:
    Must be good luck.
The guy I used to work with would ask about a chevy, "is it pretty good?" Then he say, well better hang on to it because they didn't make many:rofl:

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
'21 TRD OR AC Auto acquired 12/6/20 9 miles on the odo.
Now almost 10K on the odo. 18.3 mpg average to date (peak mpg 21.2) - all calculated based on fill-ups.
    No issues.
Lots of adjustments (to me) jumping past 15 years of technological advances into this 3rd gen.
So far I'm good with it.
    Haven't towed yet though.

I can’t believe how similar our experiences are. I picked up a ‘21 TRD OR DCSB 6MT on 12/11/20 with 10 miles on the ODO. Now at 9,152, identical gas mileage range, calculated the same way. No issues with mine, and I too jumped ahead 15 years of technological advances, coming from a 2006 Nissan Xterra that I bought new the fall of 2005 and sold last fall with 305,000 miles. However, I towed on the very first day, picking up a load of floor tile for my home remodel and unfortunately, learned the hard way about the too tall reverse gear, not being able to back the load into my driveway. The gearing has been my only complaint, but I purchased a 2lo mod that I have not yet installed which will help some.

I would guess 99% new vehicles would make it 5000K miles with no issues . One can only hope .
