Took my 2016 in for 5000 mile service the other day along with a short list of complaints. One complaint was a squeak coming from my driver side leaf spring. I could hear it getting in and out of the truck and at low speeds with the windows down. I had read other people with mistorqued u bolts and 2nd Gens taking them apart to lube them up so I figured they would try something like that but instead they ordered up a brand new pair of springs!

Just thought I'd share a positive experience and document a problem at the same time. Not sure if that's allowed around here...:mudding:

20160421_111104.jpg Also worth noting: This happened after my first time in some sloppy mud. Pulled a bigass z71 on 35s out in 4lo. Went home, washed the mud off, and it's been squeaky ever since

My rear right is starting to slightly squeak while my passenger gets out.
Hopefully enough to have the dealer swap them out.

You just have to clean the leaf spring pads. You don't need new leaf springs.
