$5000 to spend what do you get

I just want to know how people are going to use investments on their trucks. Are you going to plate it in silver and gold. Are you gonna drive to Manhattan so you can check the s&p and dow in person. Have fun and make a wishlist. Everything im doing to my truck is so i can take my wife daughter and son on exciting trips through Rubicon, Denali, Mohab. Whats your goal what do you need to do it you've been given 5 grand the bills are paid life is good, what do you get.

 

Yeah, 2oz gold and 30oz silver wouldn't plate the truck.

If you're really spending $5k I'd get some mods that will last as long as the truck. Rear steel bumper, front slimline bumper and a 9.5k ComeUp Gen2 seal winch.

$7000 is a lot of coin for "30%" more HP. Might as well get a stripped down Tundra with 5.7L

a snorkel (the husband doesn't want one, so that's fat a maybe)

I think that covers my 5k pretty well

 

Baseline 30% tune and other add-ons change of pulleys that 30 turns to 45 quick. The point is a small light truck with the speed and power of the bug truck

 

Gotta have a snorkel... I'd take a snorkel over any ca intake any day how else are you going to go through water up to your windshield

 

TIG welder, tubing bender, metal chop saw and material. Start building things.
