Bizarre , I have a canadian truck with the 4 leaf pack ( tsb ) springs and I would have to go up 3 - 3.5 inches to get up to your rear measurement . I am also on 265 / 70 / 17 . I thought the regular ( no extra leaf ) Dakars gave 2.5 - 2.75 " of lift . I may be re-thinking my rear choice as I only want to go up around 2 .5 "

    What gives ?

    Yep.
well the tsb isn't for lift in my understanding. more load bearing. so you are kinda right.... you would have to add a 3" lift to get there. but remember i JUST installed these so there is some settling to be had. do you have anything up front, or plan to?

    50 ,

I've been following the guys in the US who have been getting the rear leaf tsb done and they are reporting an approx lift to the rear of 1 inch , so I had assumed that the Dakars would raise me an additional 1.5 - 2 " above where I am now , but I would have to go up 3.5 " to get to your rear measurement , my truck , on 265/70/17 is at 37 " in the rear with the 4 leaf pack .

I had planned to go with the Toytec ULK and put the front billies at 1.75 and keep my existing rake but that won't work if the rear is going to come up 3" with the Dakars .

I had also considered removing one leaf from the Dakar pack to decrease the lift in the rear by approx 3/4" .

But at any rate , your truck looks awesome , sorry for the threadjack .

Hey man I love the truck. Used it as a bit of an inspiration for mine. I have hella 700s behind the grille craft, and had 500s for the avid bar (to mount upside down so they dont block the grille) but they didnt fit at all.. would have to use washers to fill the space on the bolt, and the "top" would be sitting on the lower cross bar of the avid bar. If you have some crazy cool method for your install please let me know. otherwise im saving up for some lightforce 170's HID.
