Actually saw this yesterday, the 6112’s are within my budget was more or less trying to get input if they’re worth the difference or necessary for my use.

I put on 5100’s to replace worn out factory. Overall happy, but found ride choppy in regular driving. Replaced them after 5K miles with 6112 and a much better ride on road and smoother damping off road.

If you have the $$$ go straight to 6112. I did make somebody from Craigslist happy with my heavily discounted and still-shiny 5100s.

just go with the 6112's and add in a 14x650LB spring if you plan on having additional weight upfront.

The overall length of the coil over remains the same regardless of clip setting. Setting the clip higher is shortening the space the spring rests in which definitely compresses it and adds preload, that’s why it holds the truck higher off the ground. The more preload the more initial travel has been taken away from the spring meaning more stiffness.

I started with the HS 3-leaf AAL, but after getting a topper I went with the RXT full back, set to option 2. What an amazing difference in ride quality.
