How did this effect the stock ride? Does it ride the same? I want to keep it the same if possible. Thx

Not much different, just a little less bouncy and a little bit firmer, I prefer the ride over stock. Tires are p rated so would probably ride rougher with LTs.

Do u feel u got 1" lift up front with the billy's set at .85. If so, I'll look into a 1" block in back. I think with a canopy I'll still have some rake, but not too much.

Looks great. How difficult to put in the 1/2 shims in the back? Any special tools? Medium mechanical abilities here.

No special tools and it is not too difficult but was a bit time consuming.

    steps are the following:
    1. jack up rear of the truck with a floor jack on the rear differential high enough to place large jackstands under the frame rails.
    2. remove rear wheels
    3. unbolt rear shocks
    4. unbolt the small bolt holding the rear brake lines to the leaf springs
    5. unbolt the rear u bolts completely
    6. remove the bumpstop
    7. unbolt the center bolt holding the leaf pack in alignment
    8. slowly lower the jack until the axle is separate from the leaf pack enough to insert the shims with the new leaf pack alignment bolt
    9. reverse of the above steps

    a couple tips:
the new bolt that goes in the center of the leafpack needs to be hacksawed around 1" off
the new 5100 shocks are a little hard to push into the bottom mount due to the rubber bushing being new....I used a rubber mallet and then my hand to wiggle it in.

I went .85 and it leveled after a while it settled and I'm lower than the rear by 1/2".

Thanks. Good to know. So you didn't do the 1/2 spacer in the back?

No , shims aren't necessary. I'm actually about to put in a taco lean spacer up front cause it's sagged more.

    yea
I'll update with some pics, I put shims in on Friday.
I put the 1/4 lean spacer on the driver side and a 1/2 shim over the axle on the driver side. For that lean. It now looks great. Ride is great nothing has changed over stock and no issues with alignment.

I only put the shims cause the whole truck was leaning to the left. Front to Rear the truck was level.
