Ok, I just want this clarified from the dealer. What are the differences in running different bilsteins as rear shocks.

The 5125's are the same as the 5100's, but you order by the length of stroke or travel needed. The 5150's are the same as the 5125's but have a cross flow oil res. All the Bilstien shocks are dampend at 255/70, unless a dual shock set up is chosen.

    what chris said

5100s are sold set for OEM setups...5125s are for "custom" applications...such as lifts, travel, etc

5150s are just excessive bling unless you are pounding trails in a speedy fashion

Whats the advantages to 5125's in the rear with 2" AAL? Just more travel?

    edit** 5125's compared to 5100's

    Toyota's are awesome
After working with Bilstein, we got them to redesign the 5125 to a 5100 series shocks, really making the only difference between the two, is the end. the 5125 require an adaptor to mount up, where as, the 5100 does not, they come now ready to bolt on. But for the most part, they both have the same specs..

Do the 5150s require an adaptor as well?

They do not. The design of the shock allows the eye mount to be removed and a stud mount to be installed in its place.
