    886's are for plate bumpers/winches since they are rated at like 650lbs. 887 is the same as an 885 just 10mm taller.

    Actually the 886 coils have a 660 lb spring rate and the 887 coils are 5mm taller than the 885 coils (same spring rate of 590 lbs).

    what size AAL did you guys go with? Did your front suspension eventually settle? On my dclb prerunner, my rear with a 1.5 aal over load still in seems to have settled after just a thousand miles, the front is still sitting tall. My truck is level, which I'm not thrilled about. Rather have some rake in the back like factory since we camp a lot. It almost looks like my rear bumper is slightly lower than the front. Should I have went with a 2.5 aal or do I need to just give more time for the front to settle? Plan to take it on some trails this weekend for the first time. We'll see how it looks after that.

    Well I just placed my order for the 885/5100 kit with the Deaver AAL and LR UCAs. Now I need to order my 17" TRD SEMA Wheels and 255/75/17 Duratracs...

    i thught it was the other way around the 887's will give a 3" lift but have a lighter spring rate and are not meant to be used with a plate bumper and winch. i may be wrong or have misunderstood marie

    You're correct.

    887 is a standard coil rate. The only HD coil for 2nd gen is 886.

    Why change the UCA"s , ( better for 4x4 wheeling ) ? most of my reading here is stock uca"s are ok with 885 ? newbe here with 885 not mounted yet ,

    I put 5100's/885's up front a month ago. Finally got my rear leafs replaced via recall. Will be installing 2" AAL's this Saturday. I run a cap and plywood bed platform/drawer all winter so I went with the 2" leaf.. Stay tuned for pics

    As promised. 885's/5100 + 2" wheelers AAL in the back. Immediately after install I got 2.5" out of the AAL. Cap will go on this week helping it settle.

    Yes I kept the stock UCA's with 5100's at 0. I got new tires at the same time I did the new suspension install so I paid $50 for an alignment through them. Alignment was within spec.

    Question for those that did the Deaver AAL. Did you need new U-bolts, or did you reuse the stock ones? I know they are long enough, just didn't know if it was best practice to go with new.

    I've got the Deaver AAL and 885/5100's in the mail...
