Now I know there are probably a bunch of threads already out there for what I am asking but I really need some help on what to do to get my prerunner lifted a lil. I just purchased some 5100 billies from downsouth motorsports and Im getting the front and the rears. I want to set the front to the maximum 2.5" and need help about if and what AAL I need for the rear so it will sit leveled. I haven't done anything to the suspension it all sits stock.

OP, you may want to look into upgrading the coils as opposed to preloading the stock coils at 2.5. I did the same thing you are going to do (except the rears, i went with Firestone air bags for leveling and towing purposes) and was extremely disappointed with the front end ride quality, it was super rough. A few weeks later i installed OME 885 coils (im a DC 4X4) with the 5100's at 0. It gave the same amount of lift as the stock coil and the 5100 set at 2.5 and rides better than stock.

I researched the same thing the past month. Here's what I found from our helpful TW bubbas:

    1.75” front à 1.5” rear = slight rake
    2.5” front à 2” rear = rake
    2.5” front à 1.5” rear = level

    * plus or minus a few...every truck is different.

I'm afraid I won't get the alignment within spec so I'm going to go with 1.75" up front and a 1.5" AAL. At the 2.5" setting you may need to install upper control arms.

    Guys,

im new at lifting my truck but, I just got a 2.5 daystar leveling fit for my 09 taco. Do i need anything done to the rear to level it out?. I appears to be sitting lower in the rear.

    thanks

1.5 AAL will get you about a quarter inch higher in rear.

I honestly wouldn't reccomend an aal if you have the non tsb pack. I put in a 1.5 deaver aal and my leaf pack was almost back to being flat after a year. I slapped a 1" block in there temporarily to get rid of the bro lean til i decide on a leaf pack. (i have 5100's and ome 885's on the front)

Maybe the 3 leaf packs would be a better option (i don't have experience with them though)
