Hey guys I'm having a hard time deciding which set up is better. I'm going to be running the 887 OME coils with either the billies or 90021 OME shocks.i have heard great reviews on both.

    - difference with the 90000s?

    - does anyone have personal experience with both?

To do the full OME set up it only cost $60 more dollars on HS.

Which one rides better and which onewill get me closer or more than 3 inches of lift.

It would make more sense to match upbrand with brand right? But I'm leaning heavy on the Bilstein side because ofreviews I just wanted to know what everyone thought of the 90021s before I pulled the trigger. Help and input would be greatly appreciated!!!

OME are nitro and the bilsteins are gas. The OME will stay cooler with faster travel or longer trips. Really depends on how hard you offroad. If you like to go fast and play for a long time then the OME will be better. But if you are just a weekend warrior then you should be good with the bilsteins

I have had both. I preferred bilsteins personally.

Makes sense thank you. Ya I don't offroad much. Just the occasional fishing and camping trips then mostly highway miles. I've been set on bilsteins for so long because it's cheaper but just recently found out that it's not to much more for the nitros

Which setup rides more like a stock TRD Sport?

I've had both and would probably go with 5100 and 5125 in the rear if I had to do it again.

Nothing wrong with the OME shocks, but nothing wrong with Bilstein either.

For people who "go fast and play for a long time," they're not running either 5100s or OME shocks.

If you are looking for a stock setup then try to find someone that has taken off their shocks off a TRD tacoma. They are stock with bilsteins and there are plenty of people that pull them off ASAP. Ive seen some sets with less than 100 miles on them for sale.
