So here's my 2006 Tacoma 4x4 TRD Off road, it's 100% stock and I am looking to level it out. It has 126k on the clock and some new 5100's wouldn't hurt.. just have a question, If I get the new 5100's on all 4 corners and set the front @ 0.85 just to level it out should I expect a similar ride quality to stock? I really like how it rides and would not want to degrade the ride quality. Thanks

I think yours looks pretty level as it sits

Could be because of the camper shell and the fact that it's on an incline

Yes the weight of camper shell definitely lowers back end. So how much do you want to raise front end? 1-1.5" ?

Yea around that, just enough to level it and that's all.

I can't say for sure but i'm sure someone else will chime in but from everything i have read you would be good with 5100's set on the .85 setting which should typically give you enough lift to level out your front end.

Yeah... I think it will be level when you take your cap off.. Do you put anything under the cap or tow anything?

I went with 2" Skyjacker leaf springs in the rear and 5100's set at 0 with Eibach springs. It stiffened it up quite a bit but I like the ride quality. I thought it was too spongy before.

You won't even notice a ride quality difference as long as you stick with your stock springs.

Off-road springs at .85" shouldn't be too bad. They'll be slightly firmer. When I had an off-road I jacked it all the way to 2.5". Definitely too stiff. lol

No don't tow anything, Never really out anything in the back unless I'm going on a skiing tip during the winter

Do you think if I leave the camper on and have the 5100's @ 0.85 might have a slight bro lean?

Just measure what you have right now. if it sits close to an inch difference right now, .85 will be real close to either being level, or slightly nose high.
