5100 hardware

It’s been over 4 years since I bought my original 5100’s for my Tacoma. I can’t remember what comes in the box with the strut/shock. Does it come with 2 rubber bushings and 2 washers?

I had the original 5100’s installed during my frame replacement and honestly not 100% confident the top bushing/washer combo was installed correctly. I can move the shock shaft around a little bit above the top hat (tracked down a light clunking in front end).

If someone has bought 5100’s recently, do you recall what came with them? Want to have everything on hand prior to taking it apart

 

Looking at this listing from Amazon it appears the two front shocks do not include any hardware. If you scroll down to "frenquently bought together" you'll see the top hat and associated hardware. You may want to check out some install videos on youtube and see if any clips of the "unboxing" of the front shocks reveals any included hardware. Hope this helps.

thanks. I’ve been searching and watching videos but it looks as though bilstein, at least on the 2nd Gen 5100’s, only includes the top nut. It’s interesting because on the rears they came with all bushings and washers to install everything new.
