Helped a friend do a 5100 install on the front of his 04 4x4 taco on sunday. Got all the shit swapped over to the new struts and installed them in the truck. Put the wheels and tires back on and set it on the ground. We noticed that the shock shaft coming out of the top of the strut with the nut on it was sticking out about 1/2' maybe?

Is this normal for this install? We put the shocks on that highest setting if that makes a difference.
