5100 Lift Options Help

I currently have 5100 shocks at 2.5" on stock springs and 1.5"' AAL with TSB springs in the rear.

I'm looking to replace the stock springs that will give me 3" or a little more if possible. What springs should I be at looking at?

 

Is that half inch really going to make a difference?

 

OME 887s are a 3" coil.

 

In the same boat. Last time I heard it was 887 you needed, havent taken the plunge yet tho

Yes, the coils will not be preloaded.

 

Since I'll be replacing the UCA's, might as well install new springs.

If you want to go to 3 inches the OME 887 as mentioned above will do nicely.
if you are already planning on the UCS the 887 will be great. You will like the ride way better that stock. The rear on the other hand..

Are your shocks set at 0?

 

Yes, I dont think it's recommended to use aftermarket coils with the 5100s on any setting other than 0.
