5100 lift with stock UCAs

    Depending on how hard you wheel you may want to consider the angle on the upper ball joints with the 5100's at 2.5. I busted both of my ball joints on stock UCA's at 2.5. 1.75 seems to be the best of both worlds. You can always adjust them later too if you end up getting UCA's down the road. Once you start modifying your truck its hard to stop :D

    at 1.75 front and rear, should i buy any shims or anything else in case i need it? i'm trying to buy everything i need all at once so i'm not waiting on parts.

    If you're just lifting the front to 1.75", you wouldn't need anything. Rear 5100's are not adjustable and do not provide any lift, therefore you do not need shims or a CB drop kit since you aren't changing any of the driveline geometry in the rear.

    Just loaded 5100's at 1.75, had it aligned the next morning, things were out of spec fer sure so definitely get it aligned right away.

    Haven't seen a 1.75" AAL, you'll have to choose between 1.5" and 2" AAL. I bought a CB drop kit when I did mine but have never installed it. For an extra $5, it's not a bad idea to grab one along and save on shipping. You might not need it though so your call.
