Hey guys I'm buying some 5100s this weekend from down south motorsports. I will be using the stock coils for now. I'm looking to have the front end higher than the front so I am looking to set them at 2.5. I am an 05 trd Offroad non 4x4. Basically I was wondering if this setup would hurt my truck at all or if I'd get any vibes and if all I'd need are the shocks. I see that 4x4s are the ones that have troubles with vibes, but I just want to be sure.

You should be fine at 2.5 or less. I had a vibe when I installed my 5100's but it turned out to be one of my wheel bearings. I guess I'm one of the lucky 4x4 guys with no vibes. :)

You should be fine. Some trucks do have problems with stock UCA's with billies up front at 2.5 and some trucks are fine with stock UCA's, it's usually hit or miss. So Light Racing upper control arms from fat bobs garage might be something to look into for optimum allignment.

Make sure you have a healthy set of spring compressors. I set mine at 1.75. My spring compressors were at there breaking point.

I have my blistens set for a 2.5 lift and put ebiach springs on them. With the rear TSB, My ride height is perfect. No UCA changed. Alignment came out perfect when re-aligned. Rides and handles very well. Mine is an access cab 4x4 if that means anything to you.
