5100 settings question

alright well pat yourselves on the back cause you just pushed me into getting a pair of 5100's for the front of my 06 AC, i dont think my truck has the TSB done on the rear and i really just wanna level my truck out with these shocks, so.... what should i set them at? 1.75?


basically i'm looking to level the truck out

 

As you'll find here - many have their own opinions on what looks best. You'll have to do the same. There are many pics here on TW with 5100's set at 0.85" and 1.75". You'll have to see what *you* like best.

With that said I'm set at 1.75" and have the rear TSB completed. I'm sitting level...this look works well for me.

Post up some pics and share your install experience once completed.

 

yeah i've seen this, just came across a thread with a truck just like mine, it seemed to look pretty good at 1.75, then i see some that look got at .85 lol i'd rather not have to tear it apart again to change it

 

i would just buy the AAL's for like $80 more, set the front to 2.5'', and have a 3'' lift...

 

You may sit a bit nose high at 1.75 without either the TSB or an AAL for the rear.

 

hmmm well .85 is better than what i've got now, and i'm sick of the raked look, i guess the + side of this route is a problem free alignment

 

oh i know what i wanted to ask, should i get new stem bushings or can i re use the factory ones?

 

I have suspension TSB and billies @ 1.75, front is one inch higher. I am now waiting for UPS to drop off my Toytec 1 1/2 AALs and rear billies. I should sit 1/2 high in rear after that .
