2008 DCSB 4x4 OR live in CO have a Toytec Boss leaf pack and Boss shocks in back for the bed rack and RTT. Medium off-roading mainly trails and DD.

I have some 5100’s and just got a plate bumper without a winch. Will it be best to go 885,886 or 887? I can get a good deal on a pair of 885’s or 886’s, but would rather buy once. I would run the 5100’s at 0.
I do not want to put on aftermarket UCA as it isn’t in my current budget. Please help as I have a trip planned and need to buy and install this weekend or next.

If you don’t want to do UCAs then you’ll want to keep the lift below 2.5”. 886s are designed to give about 3” of lift with a winch and bumper, but will settle out around 2.5-2.75”. So 885s unless you want to do UCAs as well. Just know with the bumper and possibly a winch, your lift height will be less than the 2.5” most get with those coils.

I guess I should add that the 886’s are used and the 885 & 887 are new if that will matter.

I have an ARB without a winch and it only added 131lbs net weight to the front losing about 3/16" height at the wheels wells. I only added a lift to raise the front eliminating rake as the hoops actually make a very pronounced headlight cut off. If it didn't have hoops around the lights, it would have been fine with the stock suspension.

    886 to compliment the weight.
