Nice looking truck. Did the TSB do anything to raise the rear end of the truck? I am considering getting it done and have read conflicting posts on height and ride quality.

I think the tsb adds a little more lift, but I also got the toytec AAL as well.

^ How has your front alignment been? I pretty much just did the same thing w/ a 2inch AAL in the rear and the front 5100's set at 1.75. The place I took it to can't align it. Just wondering if anyone else has had the problem.

I took it to NTB and it got rid of of the slanted wheels. I haven't had any shakiness or swaying yet, but I haven't had to go over 50mph yet either.....

I've had the alignement shop align it 4 times and they still cant get rid of the slanted wheels. (camber) They finally told me they couldn't do it. I'm just wondering if anyone had that problem.

I'm about done with it, I now have driveline vibrations, and a constant humming sounds coming from the back of the truck. I might just put the front back to stock. i'm going to try and get a few pictures of it and post them up and see what people think.

I'm going to try and have the front set at .80 lift as I still have the rear AAL and dont want to much forward rake. I'm going to see how the alignement and other issues go after I drop it down a notch. If that doesn't work, it will be back at stock height in the front. I cannot afford to destroy the driveline, or the front tires because of it.

MAX, don't give up dude. In looking at your sig pic, I know the truck is going down hill, but your ass end looks way high. My suggestion would be to 1st take out the year 2" aal and either go back to stock or get the tsb springs. 2nd I would make positively sure you got the truck all put back together correctly rear and front. You have a correctable problem. Tons of people including myself have billies at 1.75/tsb and have 0 issues whatsoever. Also check and make sure your tires are all properly balanced. I really think the problem is in your rear springs..either too high or put together incorrectly.

I'm going to try one more place before I give up on the alignement. I have to have the rear AAL even though w/ no front lift it does look stupid. My boat is about 6k, and before the AAL it sat on the frame the whole time and I'm way past my warranty for the TSB (I've tried 3 different times and got denied each time). I'm not sure what could be wrong w/ the AAL when I installed it. Its only 2 leafs, and the only thing you need to make sure of is that they is going the correct way. Dont get me wrong, I'm really happy wth the new stance, and would really like to keep it the way it is. But wearing out my front tires and having the the camber off(looks retarted) isn't want I want either. They almost got it right the last time but now my wheel isn't straight when I'm driving, and they said 2 of my centrics(???) were frozen and I would have to take it to Toyota for them to free them up. I'm about out of time/patience/money dealing with this. It was at the shop 3 times last week. If this last shop cannot aligne it to the correct specs, I'm going to drop it to either stock/.80 and see if that doesn't correct the problem. As you can see, the second to last alignement was way off, the last was almost ok, but they couldn't get it perfect.

Hmmm, how close are you to the dealer, I would skip these tire shops and go get it checked out by the dealer. Not exactly sure what the centric is/are but if their frozen might be affecting your alignment. Still cant figure out what would be causing the rear to hum?

I'm close to a dealer, but they said it could cost up to $300, and they said they still might not be able to fix it. Yeah I cannot figure it out either, it only does it when i let off the gas. I know that sounds stupid, but if I'm on the gas, then the back of the truck starts to hum, as so as I'm back on the gas it goes away. Its a noticable hum. It almost sounds like I have big mudder tires on it.

I would cut my losses now and just go to the dealer...I would do it for the peace of mind alone. Do you wheel your truck? Maybe think about air bags for your towing needs, or a custom leaf pack. I still think it is something in the rear causing your headaches, but I don't know shit

Hendooman maybe right . take off your AAL and have Dealer install TSB ( if your still under warranty) and have them alignment then it done , no more vibration as mine .
