5100's, OME 885, OEM UC, Wheeler's progressive 3 leaf. All "within spec" but drives like crap (wanders) and is feathering the outside edge of the tires. I'm on here now researching UCA's to fix it otherwise, love this set up.

^Yup, exactly my problem at 2.5" (now dropped to 1.75"). I'll be getting UCA's before I go back.

I am using stock uca's with eibach springs on 5100's set at .85 . My alignment is considered within specification, but definitely not ideal. Technically I do not need new uca's, but I will be puttin on LR uca's in the near future.

To add, the First gen trucks are more fogiving (alignment wise) with a 2.5" lift, than the second gen trucks.

There's not enough bandwidth for what's happening.
I was at 2" with stock UCAs. Alignment was in parameters but my tires went to hell. You could still see the camber despite the numbers being within limits.

Now I have LR UCAs with good positive caster and zeroed toe and camber settings ... totally different ride.

    GET THE UCAs!

Couldn't get my caster in spec with stock UCA's at 2.5" lift setting. Got LR UCAs and problem was solved.

I completely folded and bought LR UCAs. Man I hate going into an idea with a $200-300 and then exiting with counting the amount of overtime shifts it takes to make $1600

Interesting.. Im right around the year mark with this setup. Ill have to check the wear on my tires, although I rotate like every 3k miles. I wanna throw on some coils on but like you said, a few hundred turns into a couple thousand real quick. What coils did you end up going with?

Went with Eibachs. I seen a few guys getting more then 2.5 with the OMEs so I picked them. I want a bit more of a stock lean then the level look I have now

Nice! You'll have to throw some pics up when you get 'em on. Im the same on the lean, I have a 3/4" rake which I think is perfect.

Collecting info for when I do mine sub'd. If any of you read this that have the following set up or first hand knowledge. I'm thinking of going with the billy's all the way around with aal and eibach's if I stay with the first or second setting does that keep you from needing uca's. Or is it more to do with the coils? In other words the same set up with stock coils will save the expense of uca's.

I'm at 2.5" with 5100's, ride is good, alignment is good, tire wear is good. Aftermarket UCA's are NOT required with this setup. Later down the road would it be a good thing to have, sure...but not required.

I would like to agree but even with mine done within spec, at 1.75 I find the tires wearing a bit off. I'm getting the UCAs for that reason
