5100s height adjustment shocks

Looking to put these on my 2013 Tacoma,waiting for someone from Down South to confirm whether the 2012s they list will fit. Have not heard back yet,can anyone here confirm that they in fact will fit? I do not think they have changed anything from the earlier versions so far as shocks go,but want to make sure,before ordering,as I live in Canada

Downsouth says they are not sure,as they have not had verification from Bilstein or RCD?? Guess I should wait or try to verify,although I agree with you,gonna take a few days to see if D.S gets back to me. Cheers!!

 

I'm on ther same boat as you are. Just called them a few minutes ago..They verified it on their computer but no confirmation yet on fitment on a 2013 Tacoma..same advice they told me to wait so not to waste my money on the Bilstein set.

 

Ordered them anyways and they are on my truck. No change from previous years,at least not from my previous order for my 2010!! Good luck

 

Wow thanks for the info!. That's good to know!. So did the RCD/Bilstein 5100 Series level out your truck and improved the ride quality?

 

Yes it leveled my truck ,but ride is a little rougher,not improved. Nothing I am worried about,but it does lose the original softer quality ride. Guess its a trade off of sorts as I sure like how it sits now compared to from the dealer. Cheers!!

 

I guess that's ok with me too..as long as I can put bigger tires in them, I'll be good to go. I'm planning to add 2" spacers on mine as well. Thanks again!.
