with this amount of difference even if i get the eibach i may not even out, once i install new wheels and tires i'll decide if maybe best thing is to remove the aal, that should level it out

Someone else already mentioned this, but your AAL will sag over the next month or two, and especially if you haul things in it regularly. I have put probably 10 AALs in the rear of Cherokees (used to buy old crappy ones and fix them up to re-sell when I was in the Corps) -- they all took a couple months to settle in, but initially looked raked like yours.

With yours being newer than the old Cherokees I used to work on, it may take a bit more time. Long story short, though, is that, although this is some serious rake going on there, it WILL settle and sag. That's the nature of AALs.

Those wheels looks nice. Really fill out the wheel wells. The rake even looks more subtle.

they are the same wheels on the 4wheelparts website, where they have dream truck setups, except the one they have on their Toyota are 18 X9s, mine are 17x9, or might be 17x8.5 I think, they have a 4.75" backspacing, got best deal for the tires from this same vendor as well, even less than Costco, but it costs more for installation here than at Costco, that's why I just purchased my wheels and tires here and had them installed at my buddies shop, got a good deal there

yeah, I'm thinking in 2-3 months re-evaluate whether I'll order some new eibachs to replace my OEM coils, guess I'll have to drop the ring from 4th setting to the 2nd, seems someone on here said the 2nd setting with eibachs yields 2.5", plus i'll likely order the LR UCAs, whole setup will cost me another $600, this is an expensive hobby! anyways, looks like I'm done for now, man this was a lot of work, glad I'm pretty much done, thanks for the help in choosing the right gear for my truck.

hey mosquito taco, your build looks nice too, those tires would make a big difference in how it looks!!!! my tires still had at least 10K miles left on them but I just couldn't wait---had to pull the trigger, glad I did.

Thanks man, yeah I didn't have the funds for tires unfortunately until next month. But I decided on changing my wheels anyway to 8"and a different brand that's 9 lbs lighter to compensate for the extra tire weight. Figured it would pay off in the long run. So now I have to wait another 2 months for the cash. Sheesh

just a heads up, the BFG AT KO2 285/70 and 275/70s are way heavier than the 265/70 17s, something like 8 pounds or more per tire, acceleration, handling, no noticeable difference from 265/70 BFG AT 16s to 265/70 17 KO2s......on a side note, does anyone have a recommendation on a good pair of running boards? I want them to be black and have that off-road look, maybe tube-style? thanks.

These N-Fab seem pretty cool, anyone have these or seen these installed in a DCSB?

I have basically the same ones on my 15 trd or dcsb. I like the looks and the steps are functional. My mother in-law had an issue getting in the back seat on a family outing but oh well :p

Brother, that looks REALLY good! Good wheel/tire combo, and the rake is much more subtle when it's not being highlighted by the smaller wheels/tires that you had on there before.

All-around, I can see why your son would want to take the ride to work! Well done!

Sub'ed, and I'm going to take note of your wheel/tire/lift combo - mine is still stock, but won't be for long after I get back from this deployment.

thanks, i think the hardest thing was researching what gear to install and how rhe truck would sit after it was installed, if it looks good and sits how i envisioned it it's only because of all the help and input i got from all the members who provided input and suggestions, next thing to get now is a nice set of step bars--- maybe in may
