So I’m thinking you’re not ok with it ?
Did you put new UCA’s on ?
How does it ride? Sounds as if it would be stiff as hell ?
Must be on highest setting ?
Now you have excuse to get a front bumper and winch :)

I would get new UCA’s right away if your going to leave it at 3” and up.
Or you might need a repair and new UCA’s.
Not going to be real cool if you four wheel your rig at all tho.

Make sure the coil seat on the struts are sitting the correct way and that is it on the very bottom notch (lowest setting 0). When I installed my 5100s, the driver side spring seat was installed upside down so the driver side was waaaay taller than the passenger. Once it was flipped It dropped a lot and was even to the other side.

I'll check mine out at lunch and see how many notches are visible up top. Mine are set at 0 also. But it all looks right

Well it’s a prerunner so that can account for some of the additional lift. How exactly are you measuring for the lift? Should be hub to fender, before and after.

    Wrong springs?
I got 600lb springs on my coilovers from King for my single cab 2.7l, when it really needed 500lb springs. It gave me too much lift until I changed the springs.

Hey guys so yesturday got home an took some measurements an it went down 1 inch

    Before the install
Hub to fender was 21 1/4 front but passenger side was 20 sagging original suspension .

Now hub to fender is 24" inch even as of yesturday .
So now aim a bit over 3 " inch lift

You have to account for sag when measuring stock. On a new truck not so much, but 15 year old stock suspension for sure. So like you’re experiencing, a 3” lift is over stock height - not stock sagged height. If you were having an inch of sag on the original suspension, all of a sudden you’re going to have a 4” lift with 3” coils.

You have a 1/2" spacer added that's why...1/2" spacers provide 1" of lift. Doesn't look like you got 4" to me, looks more like a true 3" lift with small tires which means you got 2" out of the 881s (normal for a 2wd) and another inch out of the spacers. Remove the spacers to lower it down some. Also keep in mind it's going to settle some, maybe a 1/4 inch or so after a few days
