Ok guys I ordered 5100's for my 15 dclb. What setting should I go with to get a level ride with a 2-inch aal set? if you have pics of your ride with 5100's and 2 inch aal that would be sweet as well and reply with what your height is set at .

People are running 1.75+ to achieve a level. I have mine at .85, but I have Eibach springs that provide an additional increase in height (1.6"). Mine sits level with the AAL.

You have to be careful with the amount of preload you add on the front springs, as it will change the ride considerably.

IDK. Personal preference, really. Some people really dig that look. Not for me, but I understand.

5100 front and back. 2" AAL. OME 884 set at .85 up front. Raised front 3", rear 2". New wheels & tires soon then LR UCAs. That or im bringing the front down to .0 setting. I'm pulling to the right and getting a little wheel chatter on bumps at highway speed.

Think of it this way, an AAL will give you anywhere from 1.5"-2.0" in the rear.

Unless you add new springs in the front, the front 5100s give you nothing without the increase in preload. So whatever you set the preload at is what it will be.

Yep. Got it aligned. All was good but five months of driving crappy roads has me pulling. I'd like the UCAs as an upgrade anyway. Just need to research installation on here.

IIRC, you would have to go with the highest setting at 2.5 I believe. That will be a rough ride.

    20 + 2.50 = 22.50
    21.50 + possible 2" = 23.50

Keep I mind there's a difference in wheel well heights, so an inch difference up front gets a level cab.

I'm running stock springs up front with 2" AAL in rear. 5100's are set at 2.5" up front. As far as I can tell the truck is level. My friend did the same and achieved the same result.

I just got done with mine this past weekend. 5100s all around, OME 884 springs with the front 5100s set at 0, and a wheelers 3 lead aal in the rear. Rides really nice..just need to get an alignment ASAP

hey what if you put 5100 on all fours and skip the aal? what do you get out of that? from what i understand you can set them up to 2.5'' higher than stock, correct?
