5100's up front and TSB 4 pack in back

Ok I have read a bunch of these on here but get confused. I have an 05 sr5 double cab. It has billies 5100's up front and TSB 4 pack in back. I also have air bags in back susp. When i buy new tires will I be able to fit 285/75/16? On my old dodge I had bfg at's 295/75/16 would these fit? Thanks for help but i get so confused with all the different posts on here.

Any lift on the front?

If so 1.75 need loads of trimming

3 inch lift it will need some trimming to

Either way you will be cutting to get your wheels to turn.

 

blackshirts^^^^ just the 5100s. they were on the truck when i bought it. the way it sits now looks like there is tons of room. i just get so messed up. people start talking about back spacing and all that. i was basically just looking to see if i could fit them with what i have on stock rims.

Either way you go 285s you will need to trim. I even know a couple guys who did a body mount chop just to get 285s to stop rubbing when the wheel is totally cranked.

Can't imagine kind of trimming you would need to do with 295s but it could be done i suppose.

 

the plethora of information can be a bit overwhelming. To anwer your question. If you put 285s on stock rims you will need wheel spacers up front. I think most of the members here choose spidertrax. I don't think the 295s will fit. As far as backspacing is concerned that only comes into the equation if you get aftermarket rims. Hope this helps. And yes you will need to trim a little.
