I've been running 5100s for about 100k mi now and am ready for a new set of front/rear struts, so naturally I'm checking into what options are out there and within a decent price-range. I've been generally satisfied with the 5100s, but wonder if anyone has direct experience with these two options to give me feedback on any differences I might find by going OME this time around. It appears the OMEs have been revamped a bit since I last purchased so I might end up at a different conclusion this time around.

    Comparing:
    Bilstein 5100s
    to
    OME Nitrocharger Sport

I should probably give some more info:
'07 Tacoma DCSB, Toytec adjustable front COs at ~2.5" lift, Wheeler's 3-leaf AAL in rear.

I had my 5100's with factory coils for about 10K miles. They were set to "2.5", and were a pretty nice ride. I recently transitioned to 887 coils and got OME's with them. OME shocks are wayyy more beefy than 5100s, and the ride between the two is not comparable. I havent been offroading yet, but the OME's are fantastic so far. I will say that I never rode around on 5100s set at the 0 position, like OME struts technically are, but still-spend a little more money because you wont be disappointed.
