I have my fronts set at 1.75 with the rear stock and it sits level. I was looking into getting the icon 1.5" leaf pack and bumping the front up to the 2.5 setting...but will that be high enough in front or will it end up looking like the factory rake again? So what i'm wondering is that if I machine a 1/4 in thick ring that goes in between the spring and the spring seat is that basically the same as a 1/4 top plate spacer like the ones you would use to adjust your lean? any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

2.5" up front and 1.5" in the back will level the truck, no rake.

You could machine a thin top plate spacer if you want, to go up to 3" in the front. Toytec sells them for around $20.
