    Toyota leafs are still trash. TSB is even a bandaid until they wear flat or negative.

    Aftermarket is the way to go. Trust me. I went AAL towed a toon boat once and then I replaced the AAL after 2500 miles. Rode like shit. My HD Dakars have stood up to the abuse, ride nicer than an AAL and have maintain their positive arch for over 30k miles.

    Go with replacement leaf packs. Get the TSB done still and sell them locally.

    My .02.

    I see by your build thread that your setup has changed since this post; however, with the 5100's and 887's, did you run stock UCA's? I'm part of the DCLB tribe and trying to determine if I can run the 887's with the stock UCA's.

    @geekhouse23 Thanks for the two cents. I may look into selling the TSB's.

    I actually still have this on my truck and I used aftermarket UCA's by JBA with this set up

    I put the AAL on mine during the lift installation. Probably won't ever go that route again.

    Once these AAL start sagging I'll be replacing them with Dakars.

    What did you put on? Mine has been on for years and has not sagged.

    I got not even 2” of lift with my 887s, hub to fender is 22”. Now... my skids may have contributed to some sagging. But with 22” hub to fender stock uca’s would be fine.

    My old lift was 22.5” hub to fender and it aligned fine (although it does drive a lot better with uca’s)

    So it's a 3 leaf Progressive AAL? And I wouldn't buy squat from that shit hole.

    Hello,
    My '15 DCSB TRD O/R 4WD has 5100s @ "0" with 885 coils & a 1/2" drivers side taco lean spacer on top of new KYB top hats. They have longer studs so it was no issue adding the 1/2" spacer. Only armor the truck has is SOS Offroad Concepts bolt-on rock sliders. Ride height with full tank of fuel is as follows:

    * HUB to FENDER
    LF 22.25 / RF 22.50
    LR 24.00 / RR 24.00

    * GROUND to FENDER
    LF 36.75 / RF 37.00
    LR 38.75 / RR 38.75.

    The suspension has about 1,000 miles on it. I'm OCD so the initial 1/2 inch "left to right' difference was annoying me. Now that it settled to only a 1/4" it's more tolerable. It's not noticeable at all but honestly I wish it were higher on the drivers side than the passenger. At one point I considered removing the 1/2" driver lean spacer from the drivers side & bumping up that 5100 to .85 but that may provide too much lift. My other idea was to buy a set of 887 coils & just use one on the drivers side but it's less than 1/2" taller so it may not even be noticeable & I still may have to use the drivers side 1/2" spacer.

    For those with the 5100s & 887 coils would you mind posting your ride height specs?

    Thank you

    BTW, I may go with JBA UCA's

    Slightly late to the party but I have a question/concern I've asked a few times in the past. 5100s with 888 coils, DCLB4x4 only got about 1.75" I believe...dunno how, added a 1/2" plate to driver side 1/4" to passenger, still sits lower than the back and lower than I would like.

    Options to bump it up a tad? Thought about moving the notch up 1. Or adding a 1" spacer to each side but remove the current spacers.

    New coils?

    How do you know if you have too much lift or if I'm pushing it toooo much, its not at the 3" mark yet. Vibs, issues, CV boots rubbing?

    Do you have anything in the rear, as far as lift? How much did you get from the spacers?
