Yep, I have that setup except I have OME shocks in the rear. The eibach coils are stiff. Unless you are going to put a heavy front bumper or winch on I would recommend something different. They don't come in diffferent weights like most coil overs. I think they're like 650 lbs or something. The dakars are freaking awesome. Lots of flex and load carrying capability.

I had the that setup on my DC with an ARB front bumper and shell in the rear. Like 98tacoma3rz said, it does ride really rough unloaded, but if you put some weight on it, it rides lightyears better than stock.

Don't waste time with the exhaust relocation, just chop it off right after the down bend under the bed.

Are you considering the Dakar leaves?

What would you recommend? And how much lift did you get with your setup

Yes I am set on the Dakar. Especially after the good reviews you guys left me. Now I need to know what spring I can use with my 5100s to level it out. Also. What size tires are you running on your truck with the eibach/Dakar setup

Use the toytec/eibach spring with 5100's and you should be level. You also might wanna add in a 1/4" top plate spacer to correct driver's side lean.

    Definitely this vvv

Also off the top of my head, brake relocation bracket (or fab your own), extended rear brake line, axle shims/cb drop. You can do a search for driveline vibrations on here to pick between the two

When I had that setup before I put my ARB front bumper on, I was front high and had to get a set of Light Racing UCA's to correct my alignment issues. Hit or miss there. You'll need extended brake lines as well as a carrier bearing drop kit to fix your driveline angles. The dakars should come with new ubolts if I remember correctly.

Since my truck is a regular cab I got a lot more lift than an extended or double cab. I have the stock rear shackles and OME Dakars. Have the front coil overs cranked all the way up to match the rear. The Dakars advertise about 2.25" of lift but I got over 3". I didn't put any axle shims in either. No vibrations but for how cheap they are I would reccommend it.

I am running 32x11.5 tires. The fronts were rubbing at full turn. Put in 1" wheel spacers and corrected the problem. As Teehext said about the exhaust, just cut it off. Exhaust relocation kit is a waste of money. Buy a new set of isolator pads for the

Extended bump stops would also be a good idea. I took my sway bar off and if I really flex the rear my tires will rub a little in the rear.

Thank you. Good information. I want to fit 32/11.50r15 also. I'm wondering what offset rims to buy to fix that rub you are talking about that you corrected with a with a 1"spacer

Also me no 4x4 so I'm not sure what your front driveline/cv angle issues may be. It's entirely possible the 5100/Eibachs don't lift it enough to cause any problems but I noticed you were 4x4 so didn't want you to get screwed.

Depending on where you live you may consider coating the leaves in POR-15 or a similar protectant to prevent surface rust. 4 months in the PNW and there's more rust than black on mine

I talked to the guy at wheelers and he said everything but the Toytec/eibach and Dakar is Not required but a good idea. He did say that I would need a 1/4" driver side spacer. That leaves me with deciding whether to just buy the coils and leaves and see what happens or get a cb drop, ext. brake, etc.. I have heard of people not needing anything but the lift so I think I'm going to go with the springs and a 1/4" driver side spacer and see what I will need from there.

I ran on-road without the ext brake line for a few months before doing it. It's fine for everyday driving but the leaves have the capability to flex way past the stock line length so just watch out.
The truck will move without all the things listed in this thread but they're all things you'll need eventually, except maybe driveline vibration corrections. Driving without readjusting the BPV is sketchy though

Ok so I am getting the toytec/Eibach adjustable for the front.. OME Dakar for the rear. A 1/4" spacer for the front driver side. A extended brake line and Do I buy the proportioning valve bracket or just adjust it?
