Anyone install Bilstein 5160s without adding a leaf pack or AAL? (only stock leaf springs)

    Thoughts?

Are you talking about the 5160's for 0-1" lift (25-177343)?

If so, those should be fine with stock springs. The nice thing about the 5160s is that they are a short body shock. We show that part number provides 9.4" of travel with a 13.8" collapsed length.

The Icon rear (56503) is also a good choice with 10.1" of travel and 14.2" collapsed length. Whereas some of the others the body is too large and can limit travel on compression.

We haven't put them on a Tacoma, but we run 5165s on both our 4Runner and Land Cruiser and they work well and provide a good ride considering both are solid axle vehicles.

Are the prices on your website for the 5160s and Dakar leaf pack for 2 or 1 of each?

They are sold each, but we offer TW members 10% off using coupon code TW10. We can also put together package deals as well, so let me know what you're looking to get and I can quote you the best pricing and make sure you get the right set-up. Thanks!

Aren't these the same ones on the 12+ Baja or TRD Pro from the factory?
