55 watt bulb vs 35 watt bulb

Well I've been toying with what kind of a set up I would like to rock... and I think I have just found it.

Mind if I ask where you found these with the bulbs and everything needed? I'm a complete newbie when it comes to HID comversion. =)

 

Sure..I got the housing off ebay and then put 55w 5k in the brights and 35w 12k in the lows from ddmtuning.com (the apexcone is cheaper and I'm sure displaces heat quicker w/ its larger size, thats what i went with) also the eyelid I painted on so to find that you'd have to do it yourself if you still want the LEDs to shine through on the housing (beware the light cautions you NOT to use HIDs in the housing due to heat..however my buddy and I have both been running HIDs in our after market housings and have not noticed a problem with heat, just wanted to inform you so that when you get the housing your not bummed out)

 

Ok, let me clarify. Are they the JY Halo LED Projectors, or just a knockoff Ebay brand??

well they're the same ones so I assume they're not knockoff? I just got it from a vendor on ebay because the price was a bit cheaper ($200 w/ shipping) As far as the quality of the housing goes its good. I've had them for almost a year and at least 6 months with the HIDs and no problems even though I have heard of problems from some people but can't say that myself
