yeah, ive got a guy buying the tow hitch for $75. no hits on bumper yet. tomorrow im going to see if the tow hitch comes off, but bumper is able to go back on

 

If second gen is designed like first gen, then the answer is no. If you give the hard ware to new owner, your bumper will not be bolted to anything. On first gen, the hitch is sandwich between bumper mounting plate and frame.

Just look under there, it should give you an idea of how everything is bolted down.

 

Interested. Price?Any dents in the bumper at all?

 

no dents, but the chrome was plastidipped by the previous owner. i have no idea what they really go for so $100? since the bumper doesnt remount without the hitch hardware, i will be removing them both as soon as my tax return deposits. buying the swingout from the bay area, so i should be able to bring the bumper up to you along the way if you were to buy it

Yeah -_- before I was getting rid of it, I was going to take the plastidip off and then use a Bedliner or flat black paint on it. might end up doing it anyways just to make it look better

 

I thought about durpin mine but I don't like the way it looks with bsp. Just to dull you know. Glws. What swing out are you getting?

pulled the stock hitch off my truck (bumper doesnt stay mounted without the hitch) the buyer is going to put it on an 06 DC, to remount my bumper on my truck, are there any brackets from his truck that i would use?

 

Why would he need your mounting hardware? He cant re-use his original?

 

Second gens that came without trailer hitches bolted to the frame, and ones with used the hitch as plate to bolt on.

I lied. no bumper anymore :/ had some things pop up that I have to take care of before getting further into the police department process so stock bumper will be going back on.

@Bchengy Have you trimmed any of your fenders for your tires? If so, how hard was it?
I'm thinking of taking off 1" from the front and 1" from the back.
