If you never cycle your suspension then sure.

Even 265s with -10 offset will rub on fender liner.

Why does that matter? Put the balance towards the loan? That’s not fun.

That price seems steep for me but I avoid the shop rate, I've checked plenty of under torqued parts on other's lifts from shops. A buy once cry once lift if you plan on keeping your truck would include: coil overs (height adjustability/taco lean), longer rear shocks, rubber bump stops)leaf pack/add on leafs, upper control arms (alignment correction/extended travel shocks), cab mount chop (33"+ tires), alignment, rims and tires. If you have accesses to tools and jacks go for it. TW and Youtube are good resources. I found it's is also better to make a plan to what components work together and try to find good prices while money gets freed up for them or just save till Black Friday and buy a superior lift all at once while putting miles on the crap stock tires.

Fuck that noise holler at Colton from hotshot off-road . Tax free and free shipping . I bought a lot of gear from him. Save yourself money and diy . Plus your 22 and your generation needs to know how to wrench. Good for ya . It’s pretty fucking easy too. If you lived closer I’d help you

Way over priced. This was a quick search and less than 3500 together.

At 22, I’d suggest IF you feel you need these upgrades, install them yourself. You’ll Save some coin and learn a little about the mechanics of your truck doing so.

But also, your 22, young, and this is a brand new capable truck as it is… My advice is to drive it and start a little savings or retirement account with the 5k.

I know I didn’t at your age, and I’ve had to work extra hard later in life to make up for some poor decisions early on.

Yes! Drive it, get a dog, get a girl, hell 5 grand will help you get both and keep one… the dog will stay on its own. Really though, don’t get lost in all the crazy ass builds you see on TW, a lot of us are old men that paid our dues and can now piss our money away with ease.

I’m glad you didn’t say fuck the dog. Tacoma World is weird enough without that kind of stuff going around.

But seriously OP. The best way to figure out if you are getting ripped off is look at the parts individually and add them up. Then assume labor is 150/hr and estimate. I think you are probably paying maybe 1.5k too much? But didn’t look at wheels. If you are buying new factory wheels then that’s probably right. I’d get aftermarket ones if it was me.

Put the $5700 into a CD account (you'll get 4-5% returns currently) and drive the truck stock for a couple years until the stock tires wear down. If you financed the truck consider paying it off sooner. Fund an emergency fund and your retirement accounts. Compound interest - make the most of it while you're young.

If you're still interested after two years buy what you want, but eventually you'll get tired of that truck and want something new. :hattip:

like folks said if you can install you can do it yourself.

Unless you really want Pro Wheels you could save some coin by adding tires to the ones you have. Or 2-2500 for new rims/tires. You prob are paying extra for the Pro rims.

1500-2000 for parts so its close but id say you could save some $$ for sure. grab lunch and some beers for a local TW guy and you could knock that stuff out in an afternoon.
