$57K TRD PRO

I was at the dealership again for the damn check engine light. They told me to stop topping off the gas tank.

They had a MGM TRD PRO on a pedestal thing. Was talking to a guy while waiting and he said it had a $57,000 sticker price.

Shit's crazy.

 

I stopped topping off when I got my 3rd gen.

Did the dealership do anything to the truck? Lift, tires, etc? I find it hard to believe Florida joined the bandwagon. Then again, I guess there's still a shortage of new vehicles.

 

Tell us more about the guy.

 

It properly had the ”good” fuel pump.
Seems reasonable I guess?



I’ll crawl back over to the 2nd Gen forum where I belong now.
Not like we have anything better to do except pick on the 3rd Gen guys while getting our frames replaced.

 

Was it a 2015 Pro,they are worth a lot of money now.

 

Yup prices are stupid ....good thing I bought my truck prior to this Covid bull shit .

 

Can get a 6.2 L 420hp Domestic truck for that.....

Here in Puerto Rico is the standard price for the Pro and a lot more through other dealers...

2019 TRD PRO used with 22,000 miles in excellent condition have a tag price of 49,999. the taxes we pay for new vehicules are way more expensive than US continental

 

That’s insane. Bone stock? I ordered my PRO manual, under coated for $55K CAD (41,900 US) end of October at a dealership in Calgary.

 

Pro’s here are going at sticker so like 49k depending on opt (49k is auto)

 

Not really. They go for around 25-26k in my area.
So half of a new one lol.

 

They're at the back of the frame replacement line, they just don't know it yet.

Yeah...why you got to go and top off the gas tank? I've never understood that desire in people to try and get that extra tenth of a gallon all the way up in to the filler pipe. I watched a lady the other day top off at least 10 times before calling it good. Seriously people, when the thing shuts off once you're good to go. Move on and let the rest of us get our gas. I guess if you're one of those people who also requires a security wipe then one more click is acceptable... but that's it!
